I drove through Ringgold GA on my way back to Chicago and from what I saw it was very scary. I've lived through hurricanes all my life and the destruction is just so much different.

Glad you're safe but sad for those who didn't make it.

one natural disaster doesn't trump another, but tornadoes scare the shit out of me. Hurricanes allow a few days warning -- to board up, evacuate, etc...tornadoes allow only a few minutes.

The photos I've seen from N. GA and AL look absolutely horrific...neighborhoods were leveled.
