I haven’t watched a full episode of this season, but from the clips and comments I’ve seen, it seems like this might be the worst season yet in terms of talent and originality. Is that true?

RuPaul is incredibly greedy, constantly churning out new seasons, especially when you factor in all the international versions. They really should take a break-it’s starting to feel stale.

so far yes. lexi love is the only one with charisma imo. the other queens call her grandma (she is in her early thirties). they should cast more "older" queens next time.

nah. it's a good season (so far). People just always seem to expect a replica of their favs to be there again.

Lexi and Onya are the most charming queens. The rest all feel very ChatGPT version of drag race contestants.

I think Hormona at least is unique because her persona as a "good" Christian woman from the south is so incongruent with drag and LGBT culture in general that it's funny.

the guest judge has a total of 7 credits on IMDB, two of which are Ryan Murphy shows.
She was fine but damn... This and a season full of baby infant queens, maybe DR does need to take a break.

The challenge was whatever, DR is never good when it references itself instead of creating something new.

Suzie did something incredibly smart and that is change her makeup to a traditional pretty makeup the second time she was high/judged so Michelle couldn't say anything about it. Now she can go back to doing her brows ugly for the rest of the season. Crystal Envy was robbed for her red quilted look.

It felt like an MTV/Paramount tie in to 1923, the Yellowstone show that she is apparently in (I had to google her bc I was like wtf). Which is totally ridiculous for RuPaul's Drag Race

Between that and the Monopoly challenge last week, it's only a matter of time before we get a Kraft Mac and Cheese challenge

I think the Star Trek runway on Global All Stars was the worst offender. The brief they got was galactic glamour... which they rebranded into Star Trek... Fuck Paramount.
