Sony Pictures CEO Tony Vinciquerra says "Madame Web" flopped in theaters "because the press just crucified it."

Pretty sure it flopped because it was shit.

The script was terrible, nothing actually happened, and everything seemed like a set up for another movie that nobody was interested in watching rather than being a stand along film that would draw people back.

I’m MCUed out, I have no desire to watch anything with the characters I know and even less desire to watch movies about characters I have no idea who is… and then you go around casting unlikables like Jared Leto and Dakota Johnson… yeah, hard pass fuckers!
