I feel like we’ve reached a point where it’s very much okay to slow down on making live action versions of animated characters. Preferable even.

For the 5 10th Kingdom fans in the house, every time I see Clayface, I think of Clayface the goblin who was in prison for the crime of carving.

Who…who is even the audience for this? WHY does DC think anybody wants this?! A superhero movie that is being marketed as a TRAGEDY??! What are these folks smoking.

It will probably be a low budget horror film. Flanagan is a relatively big name at least in terms of critical success when it comes to horror.

I’d love to see something interesting and actually scary done with a superhero/villain property, so I’d stream it if it got good buzz. I really liked that Werewolf by Night show Marvel did. Couldn’t be bothered to sit in a theater for it though, so mid budget would probably be wise.
