I was soo bummed I missed the chance to see both him and Indira Varma in Macbeth when they came to DC. 😭😭😭 I am huge fans of both and really admire their talent. Plus Indira is a fucking goddess.

I want to see The Return for Marwan Kenzari but my theater lied about playing it lmao. I have heard it is very dry and boring but has nudity and "oiled up gym rats" so i am excited.

Remember when theaters used to be this crowded for adult historical dramas?

(tbh I don't think they ever were outside of film festivals and special screenings LOL - but maybe in nyc in the 90s idk)

they're still this crowded for oscar bait like this, but like in a couple of theaters in nyc that film nerds like myself know to go to (like amc lincoln and the angelika)
