The English Patient broke me like, I didn’t expect it to hit me emotionally. Then I read the book and it was just as intense.

I watched The English Patient years ago and remember liking it
sucks that it's largely just remembered as a bad winner these days for being "typical Oscar bait" (which I do see, but I still liked it anyways)
