Having rich (although not Leno rich, obviously) grandparents, they are stingy and cheap as hell and have probably stayed at nothing nicer than a Hampton Inn. They once stayed at my house while driving home from visiting my grandmother's relatives in Alabama as to avoid needing a hotel at all. Luckily they got here late and left after brunch. Just saying, boomer rich people are often very, very cheap.

exactly. a lot of wealthy people have cheap ways; that's how they stay rich. Newly rich people are obvious for a reason, lol. Also, some people don't care about the hotel they're staying at because you don't spend all of your time in your room.
