I’m not familiar with his music, but from what little I’ve seen about him, I hope the album flopping doesn’t mess with his mental health too bad.

The podcast Pop Pantheon had a great episode about flop and honestly if he's able to embrace as a way to be free creativity he's gonna be alright. Everyone now a days has a niche fandom. And if nothing go right to him he can always go the Bruno Mars route and be on Brazil for like a whole month doing concerts and have a garanted money

I don't even know who is audience is now. Because what few male pop stars there are in the Harry Styles mode of excess and color and fun. And if people want strummy guitar guy music they have folks like Noah Kahan doing that.

And a lot of the album sounds like reworked John Mayer
