i know it got some positive critical reviews at film festivals (at least it seemed like it) but every review i've seen of it since it came out has said it'd BAD and the acting is terrible. i can't believe people genuinely thought selena was going to get an Oscar nom lmfao

I saw a clip of Selena dancing and singing in another post, and she is having the same issue as Hilary Duff: she is too self-conscious and finds it difficult to get into character. You are literally watching someone become shy in front of the camera and cringe.
All the money, and she can't buy acting classes.
