There's nothing wrong with 'Susan', though!

If she means that she regrets not having a stage name, I get it. If she means that she never felt like a Susan in her life, she can still legally change her name if she wanted to.

Chris Sarandon was a babe and he’s also a nice husband? My standards are low, but I would’ve clung to that man.

He’s still sexy for an old dude too, and has a cooking podcast lol. He seems very charming. He got remarried a couple times but he and his current wife have been married for 30 years now

Isn’t he married to Rachel’s boss from Friends? The smoker who kept leaving her out of decisions? And she’s not young enough to be his daughter.

He’s the perfect man. If only I wasn’t young enough to be his granddaughter.

I had to look it up lol but yes! And yeah she’s 8 years younger than Chris but he’s 82 to her 74, meaning they married when she was 44. So yeah. I interviewed him last year and he was super sweet and complimentary to others he has worked with, and Susan too

When I was in high school I realized my middle + last name flowed more easily than my first + last name, but at the ripe old age of 17 I thought it was too late to switch

If I had it to do all over again when I got to college I would have started going by my middle name

It sucks how we're just sort of stuck with whatever choice we made in high school/college re: names. I would love to start over with my middle name but it feels like you can't do that when you're almost 40.

yeah maybe if i were to move somewhere brand new & have to start completely over that would be an opportunity to do it, but at this point i'd just be creating work for my friends who've known me for years and would have to start calling me by a new name just because i like the sound better

especially since my logic is that my middle + last name combo is easier to enunciate thus easier to hear/remember, and my friends already know my name at this point (i hope)

Funny you say that about starting over. I'm looking at moving abroad in 2025 and I am trying to decide how I want to use my name; do I go full name? Same name I do now? A different shortening of it? There are options and I kind of hate my name on me but like it for other people. So I am planning to do just this.
