My mom enjoys Elsbeth and was watching Matlock when I talked to her. She's invested.

I like Elsbeth but I’m not sure how crazy I am about knowing the murderer at the beginning, I kind of wish it was more of a mystery.

My mom enjoys Matlock but idk I don’t really like the whole twist part of it.

I am still enjoying Elsbeth but I’m not sure how much longer. The structure is what’s getting old already. I don’t mind knowing the killer in the beginning but wish there was still some sort of twist or mystery aside from the clues that leads Elsbeth to them.

I love Elsbeth’s outfits though and NEED her apartment. Just wish her kitchen windows were bigger.

I can’t get into Matlock. I’ll usually have it on in the background while I do dishes now.

As for the most recent episode - I loved the “two ducks later,” the avocado cartels (and debate/discussion on whether they are fruit or vegetable), and the return of Laura Benanti!

I fucking love Matlock!! Great show without the twist and the twist just makes everything so much more messy and fun!

Matlock has really won me over. At some point, it dawned on me that the leads were a black woman and an older woman. Matlock is not some genius who solves everything. Olympia is equally solving stuff and realising things. I'm surprised it has taken Matlock so long to realise Olympia is clearly a big softie and not the enemy here. I liked the last episode of Matlock's lies catching up with her and her life getting chaotic and her seeing what justice looked like for someone else who lost their child.
