A hs friend of mine is apparently bragging that she's moving her family to Australia because of the election. The nightmare it would be for them all to get visas (she has four kids), but isn't there also a right wing government problem there as well?

I don't trust her enough to give her the benefit of the doubt when it comes to her saying homelessness and possibly meaning the nature of the housing market/price of living causing issues. So I'm gonna take it as she just hates living in California and having to see unhoused people.

Taxes? Fuck you for that too. As somebody in a very comfortable tax bracket, I have never been bothered about paying taxes. I'm in a position where I don't miss the money I have to pay in taxes. So I know damn well a fucking millionaire better shut the fuck up about it too.
