Hmm curious about this but the production doesn't look as flashy as I would've wanted it?

I read some reviews that said the set design and cinematography were really basic given what the subject matter/potential.

Yeah I'm even thinking back to tv movie from the 90s and it's somewhat similar but I feel like the lighting was at least better in the tv version 90s.

The fact they're releasing the trailer less than a month before it comes out also makes me sus for some reason LOL. But yes, the TIFF reviews were very meh - not bad, not great, just in the middle. Someone described it as something the substitute teacher puts on during a history class (but there is a full frontal male nudity scene at least so with that edited out LOL).

Their chemistry is amazing, so I'm looking forward to this.

This looks like it has the budget of a movie you'd watch in history class but I'm still interested

Ralph Fiennes grew his hair and beard. "haggard and unrecognizable" ok rude lol, he was in the sea for decades, he didn't have skincare. He's supposed to be like in a disguise so she doesn't recognize him.

I feel as though I'd be extremely bored watching this.
