Looking forward to this! I'm three episodes in and I'm enjoying it, so far. Stunning performances from the cast! Although Sacha Baron Cohen in a serious role is a little disorienting.
The major twist (Catherine's version of what happened) was not surprising. The actual twist was Stephen later telling the truth. Maybe I'm being petty but I wanted at least a mention that he contacted her place of employment and told everyone at the entire company that he was a petty bitter liar.
haven’t seen the finale yet but it just makes me angry an author like her and someone with money doesn’t seem to have a good PR or lawyer that at the first contact made by him she would be like
I want to know what Sasha's mom said to Nancy about Jonathan. I can only imagine he did something similar to Sasha. How did he become so depraved? Was he just too coddled by his parents?
Also, I haven't read the book - does it do a better job of showing why everyone, including her own husband (so glad it ended with divorce), was so quick to believe the worst about Catherine? I didn't really find her unlikeable. Or was it just that she seemed so "perfect" that everyone wanted to take her down a peg?
I want to know what Sasha's mom said to Nancy about Jonathan. Same. Nancy was clearly upset by whatever Sasha’s mom said and then either Stephen or the book said that they never heard from Sasha or her mom again, which was already suspect at the time
