I’ve always wondered how easy is it for celebs to just exist. I know that some genuinely can’t escape it - especially if they’re new to blown up fame and don’t know how to get around it yet. But, a million photos of Hillary Duff walking from place to place in the aughts? 😑

I always assumed that for the vast majority, if we’re seeing them they want to be seen. (Ie: I don’t believe Affleck just happens to get photographed all the time.) Sorry to this Freddie Prinze Jr but I don’t think paps are trying THAT HARD to photograph him. So he’s probably right that it’s easy to stay out of the limelight.

But, I agree with you that there is a subset who at certain times generate a lot of buzz and therefore $$$ for the news outlets. In those cases, I think it’s genuinely harder to escape the paps.

I'm a 90s kid so these two are still my favorite celebrity couple :) Even though I barely know anything about them other than loving their projects and the fact that they've been together this long.

I feel like both SMG and FPJ have always had a healthy relationship with their fame - they recognized that acting was a job and you didn't need to give your whole personal life over to the show or the fans.

It might be easy for someone like FPJ, because no one is checking on him, but I can’t imagine it’s the same for someone like Tom Cruise. I think he could easily avoid some of the attention he gets, but it’s not like he only gets attention because he goes to popular places. He’s simply too famous to not receive it pretty much wherever he goes.
