I have a friend who has been to 6 shows and got some kind of code for Toronto so she's flying up there on Thursday from TX. The "funny" part is no one except for me knows and she acts like the biggest hater to everyone else in our friend group. Whenever she flies out for one of the concerts she says she's going on a work trip.
Not in terms of length or number of shows. It seems the longest because her team always keeps her in the news, while other artists tour without all the PR nonsense.
I was curious and went looking, and while I'd say the answer is no, I'm finding a lot of contradicting info on who that record would belong to. I'd guess it really depends on what you'd consider to be a tour. Because Bob Dylan has played over 3000 shows throughout his Never Ending Tour but that tour has been going since 1988 and it's really just his typical performance schedule.
But it sounds like Thirty Seconds to Mars broke the official record at one point with a tour of 309 shows between 2009 and 2011. I don't think Taylor's come close to those numbers.
i think she will to some extent but probably in a way that’s pretty normal… like even as a high school theater kid i knew post-show malaise was a thing and felt it lol. but she’s theoretically turning her attention to her movie next so it’s not like she’ll have idle hands lol
i just went to my one and only show and the chick behind me was telling security how many shows she's been to (like 6 or 7?) and i legit turned around and went DAMN because like. girl!
she goes "im just bad with my money ha ha" meanwhile her poor teenage daughter is holding her sleeping toddler the entire 3+ hour show. mess.
the thing is, she does everything EXACTLY the same, down to the little comments and mannerisms, every night, except for 2 songs in a 45 song set
once you've seen it, YOU'VE SEEN IT. it's so long i cannot imagine going through it multiple times. It's like a 6 hour experience at minimum if you show up for the opening act with all the lines, but i know a lot of people went earlier. THAT'S EXHAUSTING.
when i watched it on streaming with my mom we split it over two days because it's so long

I dont understand it. Both why you need to go THAT many times and how they afforded THAT many times.

God, this is going to be the highest-grossing tour of all time and she is going to be fake-humble about it, isn't she?
