I was playing Tomb Raider for about an hour and then had to stop because of my stupid motion sickness. it's been half an hour and i'm still queasy. i guess next time i'll be digging out the dramamine.
Can you adjust the motion blur, depth of field, and/or screen shake? I’ve found messing around with these settings can make a game that was unplayable for me, completely playable! Granted, it doesn’t work on all games and not every game has the settings.
sometimes i can, but i didn't see any useful settings on this game. i'll check again when i play next. what really seems to help is games that put a dot in the center of the screen to focus on!
Picked up Stardew Valley again as a distraction from election anxiety. My husband watched me play for a bit one day, and he was like... "you just seem to be moving things from box to box, it seems like busywork" and I was like "sir, this is 'busywork - the game', that's basically it" lol.
He's playing the Final Fantasy 7 Pt II remake as I type - he loves it, but doesn't have a lot of free time to play games, so he still has a ways to go, I think.
