Imo Gochizou is the most popular collectible device in the last decade of Kamen Rider. It's similar or same popularity of O Medal at OOO period
Even if it's standard release Gochizou, it's really hard to get. https://t.co/EVzwheotN7

I went to so many Kamen Rider stores in Japan but I don’t watch this series so I didn’t bother to pick any up. Someone on twitter said these were limited edition?

Speaking of these things, I follow leaks threads for kamen rider and super sentai on a certain forum that I’ve been member of for over 15 years. I only go there because I’m interested in the actors in these shows not because I actually follow the shows. Today I’ve found I’ve been blocked from seeing leaks cos I don’t have enough posts. Now I have to find a way to make three posts on a forum I have not interest in the topic of and haven’t posted in for 17 years 😭 I’m kind of salty rn.

Is it bad that I mostly know Kamen Rider from the time a woman who was in multiple Kamen Rider iterations suddenly quit all her commitments and devoted herself to Happy Science as the lead star in all their insane religious propaganda movies written by their founder/leader/now dead guy?

(Yes, given that Happy Science still refuses to remove me from their fake rolls because my study abroad host mother signed me up without telling me in 2008, I keep on top of my Happy Science news so I can revel in glee every time they get taken down a peg.)

She was somewhat popular but she was really only at the beginning of her career and I feel like when she left people took it in a negative way so not something that would inspire others to join. But ever since this happened I've always worried that someday a more popular entertainer with a more devoted fanbase would do the same thing and people would actually go and see them in those Happy Science movies D:

I know this is cruel and wrong but when it comes to young actresses and actors in Japan they are a dime a dozen, there are hundreds of kids out there who are just as good looking and "talented" as the next, it takes a lot of work from the agency to get someone cast in just the right roles, model in the right magazines, walk in the right runway shows to and appear on the right variety shows to become the next "it" boy or girl. Yeah agencies are bad but I really can't blame them for not wanting to put in the time or money in to building up someone who will quit and use whatever fame they gained to promote a cult.

At least Happy Science claims to have 11 million followers but in reality, it's actually closer to 13,000, so said Ryuho Okawa's son/former chosen successor (he left before his father died). They are only well-known because they are so devoted to making movies and anime and publishing hundreds of books such as "A Conversation with Donald Trump's Guardian Angel". I think I'm in the 11 million despite the fact I do NOT want to be, but at least it means I get to find out what stupid events they're having in NYC (they closed the Atlanta branch and transferred my membership back to NYC lmao). They're now trying to lure me in with sushi-making classes and movie-watching parties.

I cannot wait for the day Happy Science dies tbh.

I wish scalping was just banned. You shouldn't be allowed to resell things at a higher price with no value added. I'm ok with the upcharge on individual vintage items that have been well maintained (value added) or shipping services (value added), but companies should not be allowed to just buy stuff up, sit on it, and sell it for a profit. I'm including real estate in this too - you can take care of rental properties that people live in and charge for it, but it should be illegal to just sit on property and merchandise for pointless speculation.
