I'd be upset about this but right now the MTV Canada schedule is basically just Ridiculousness on a loop.

Clearly I did not grow up with the deluxe cable channels because my ass had MusiquePlus and that's it. I didn't even know there was an MTV Canada, I thought it was an exclusively American channel you had to pay $$$ to get, like the Disney Channel or Nickelodeon

I remember when we finally got it, it was on channel 57 or something. Like ooh, a higher up channel = premium!

is musique plus even around anymore? i know the studio near place des arts closed a million years ago.

it makes me nostalgic for high school, i remember rushing downtown after school and seeing muse and the tea party and a bunch of other bands for whatever music talk show they had.

I remember when Dan Levy called Kristen Stewart a bitch on MTV Live.

I didn't know that MTV Canada still existed. I was at the Masonic Temple last month to see Stars and I was hit with a wave of nostalgia for the peak MTV days. It was back when this city was actually fun. Losing MuchMusic in its original incarnation was also such a blow to this city. Idek what young people do for free fun anymore.
