My firm scheduled a meeting ON Election Day and I’m like seriously??

My boss asked if anyone was planning to come in on Election Day and said he would keep our weekly meeting on the calendar just in case anyone needed time to decompress. We also have a weekly meeting on Thursdays and I think that one will just all being depressed together.

I schedule some regular meetings months in advance and didn't even realize a few would be after election day.... not looking forward to meeting one of my clients who I know is a trump supporter since they have trump flags all over their yard.

If this comes as surprise to some people…then you didn’t grow up in conservative religious culture! I’m sure there’s some left leaning nuts out there who also want to control their wives votes but it’s an overwhelmingly conservative religious based problem. I grew up in evangelical culture so I’ve seen it first hand but I’m sure it also goes on in other cultures heavy on patriarchal religious systems like Mormons and Muslims. Insecure men with a system telling them they should be in charge of everything is a disease
