LOL this is totally in response to the last post!!
I'm kinda meh on her I think she comes off nice in some things and then others I feel like she has a condescending attitude somewhere in there. But I remember thinking she was good in Up in the Air. It was funny rewatching that movie during the pandemic.

My personal opinion is that adaptations made in the the last few years shouldn't have been made. I wish we got original stories like Kiss the Girls or True Detective instead of yet another adaptation of a REAL crime.
I can't help but think of the victims and their families :/

Similarly, I’m having a really, really hard time in most comment sections about sean combs with the endless high-fiving over their trash-ass shitty one-liners. Like, that man hurt *a lot* of people. There is a real, genuine chance one of his victims will actually see them and believe their pain is just a joke to others.

True crime as a genre of entertainment makes me deeply uncomfortable - I hate 99% of true crime docos and podcasts and find them cheap exploitation. I hate that things like My Favorite Murder exist. Those are real people, with real loved ones still out there seeing their family members/friends being used as entertainment.
I don’t know, I have a lot of feelings and opinions about this topic but I can never articulate them without sounding like I’m just an old fart who doesn’t get it. Which I am.

I’m intending to see it as it does look interesting. It’s one of those movies I have to be in the right mindset for, though.
