I liked it. I don't mind all the false things that were set up along the way because you need that in a mystery show. I did expect multiple killers, but it was fine by me they went for something easier. I enjoy the show when it just leans into the trio, which it did in this ond. As someone who has a fear of heights, that ledge walk was far too effective with me!

Also Martin Short and Meryl Streep are very charming together, and this was so very sweet.

I do hope we see more of Tea Leoni's character next season.

I agree. It's a multi-episode show where amateurs are solving a mystery so there are bound to be dead ends and false leads. It would make no sense if these average joes immediately figured out who the real killer was (and the season would be very short!). Part of the appeal is watching them work through their theories until they finally hit upon the right path. Not every clue is going to be interpreted correctly at first glance and not every trail is going to lead to the actual murderer.

The mystery this season was underwhelming from beginning to the very end. I didn't care for the celebrities of the season, I like Eugene but even he wasn't interesting to me. The A-List guest stars have always been gimmicky and something that took me out of the show but now they're starting to make me not want to watch it at all.

I liked the banter between the 3 and wish we got more with the original residents of the building like Uma, Lester and my dude Howard. Like wtf Howard found a huge clue and basically disappeared until a few seconds in the finale!

And even the dead body at the end was so predictable, their last scene in the hallway made it obvious that they were next.

I hope the writing goes back to the quality of the early seasons and where is my bb Oscar?!!!! Stop with the big guest stars and just give me the characters in the building and bring back the gang's family and loved ones or end this already.

I thought the writing was stronger this season lmao like, the murder mystery was always the least interesting part, that stayed consistent, they upped the jokes and cute interactions between characters, that was stronger than previous seasons. I guess it depends on what you're looking for in this show. I never saw this as some big mystery show, it was always more about the comedy and characters. I thought all the big guest stars were great.

I think people focus too much on the mystery, I do agree the reveal is always meh but this is a comedy show about a found family with murders sprinkled in, so idk why people's expectations are so high for the reveals. The show delivered the laughs and wholesomeness perfectly

Same. I haven’t watched for the murders since s1. The trio is the heart of the show and they delivered on that so well this season.

The OMITB Reddit showed up on my feed a few weeks ago and I was a little surprised at how mystery focused all the posts were because honestly I don’t really care about that at all. It just gives me a reason to watch all these characters together, which is what I’m here for lol
