This is so brave of Seungkwan to release a statement. Hybe should be embarrassed by all their bullshit being exposed. and one of the memos alluding to being behind all the shit RIIZEs Seunghan went through.

I'm glad he's also calling out toxic fans. Still remember those terrible fans hating on him for going out to restaurants while he was on bereavement hiatus "if he's well enough to go out he can perform". plus him having to unpin his Moonbin post cause Suga stans attacked him for posting about liquior and advising not to drink and drive as an attack on Suga's DWI. stupid asses

I know nothing will change but at least someone tried and that's more than idols will ever do cause they are scared of their companies and fans turning on them

I wonder if someone could sue for something like that. Like, if it could be shown that Hybe always intended to throw her to the wolves, drum up some attention, and then boot her out to drum up even more attention, and that they never intended for her to have a career as an idol and instead purposefully sacrificed her for LE SSERAFIM's long-term benefit. There's probably some term in Garam's contract preventing her from pursuing any sort of legal case but it would be interesting to know if something like that could ever play out in court.

From what I read they felt the scandal could help solidify the fanbase by both defending her and being more loyal to the members in general - I guess the idea was the crisis was supposed to bond them? They said they didn't find any proof of her wrongdoing. In this case I don't think they purposefully created the scandal, but (in my opinion) they def dropped the ball on letting it get out of hand and having her take responsibility for it.

The document leaks are so sick. These companies really just see idols as a paycheck and just another product in the fucked up chain. I know idols are more or less aware of that themselves which is sad af but I can't imagine how it would feel waking up to document leaks of your company plotting ways to ruin the livelihood of your fellow colleagues, friends. And not just try and ruin them but sabotage them in ways that could launch a witch hunt against them that could end in tragedy like it has for other idols.

In his post Seungkwan added a lovely letter that NMIXX's Haewon (who btw HYBE tried to spread feminism rumors of and who they dedicated a whole 2 page rant on ways to take her down) wrote to him a while back about him being an inspiration to her, so it's lovely seeing him speak up for his group, juniors and his seniors and just idols in general.

A lot of this is awful, but some of the comments are really fucking funny. Like how "sorry" they felt for Stray Kids Changbin for being short lmao.

Of course Yeonjun is good at performing and MC-ing. Even just standing still, he brings meaning [to things]. He just had to be the one interviewing NCT Dream and Stray Kids, and we felt sorry seeing how Yeonjun destroyed both groups with his physique. Soobin is known for his tall height, and his pure and naive image, so he didn’t look too out of place alongside them, but the difference between Yeonjun and Changbin when they stand next to each other is too much.

So weird lolz.
