One of the half-siblings I grew up with did this. She has a very beautiful French name but Midwest in the late 70s/80s no one knew that the French "Y" is silent and her name got botched so much she hated it and changed it to a shorter version legally.

I find her interviews the right kind of semi-meandering and boring but also charming enough to put on when I'm doing admin work. She reminds me of one of my MySpace friends who was a huge MAC stan back in 2005.

I was watching videos of her and seems nice, so I don't know what she's doing with someone like Matty. She's cooler and more tolerable comparable to him lol.

In her case she was a longtime fan girl of his so I kind of think they might last longer than people expect solely because she’ll be more willing to put up with his BS. She’s the Hailey Bieber to Matty’s Justin I think.

But I do have to wonder that about Matty’s other exes. How on Earth did he pull FKA Twigs?

Matty might've seemed like a spring breeze to Twigs after being with Shia. But it does make me wonder how much she put up with his opinions~ on things now that I think about it.

I don’t mind Hailey either but I think she probably puts up with a lot from Justin and does most of the work in their relationship and because she was his fangirl for so long she doesn’t stand up for herself. I think Gabbriette is the same tbh. On Matty’s part, I could be off here but the vibe I get is that he’s decided he wants to be married and to have kids and he’s at the age where it doesn’t matter who with, which is why he was moving so quick and promising all those things to Taylor when they’d barely been dating and he’s probably doing the exact same thing now just with a different girl. There are rumors Matty and Gabbriette are already legally married and just waiting to have the reception with everyone lol.
