Such a bummer when stuff like this is garbage - seems like it could be an easy way to get people on board with your products if it's done right.

Thought about buying myself this

i used to be a subscriber of lauren before she started doing the advent calendars, and i used to really like her. however, she buys these advent calendars knowing they're going to be shit. she has a major overconsumption problem.

I feel like Alexandria Ryan is probably the worst - she buys so many advent calendars and subscription boxes and then forgets for months that she has them and has to do speed unboxings to get through them all.

oh yeah, she's definitely another main offender. i just didn't like the shift in lauren's content and her attitude towards these advent calendars when she knows they're not that great. since she can afford more makeup, she had a more bougie attitude.

Maybe she donates the leftovers to women's shelters? Wishful thinking.

I like the Bonne Maman advent calendar - 25 days of jams and jellies!

2500 points = $2500

and you can get a $100 sephora gift card with 2500 points

so $100 for THAT? no. and sephora's point system is a joke anyway. so all of this is just bad.

sounds to me like it's Sephora's way for members to use up their points needlessly so they DONT have to give away actual money on gift cards

sephoras point system will always and forever be a scam.
i don’t really do “high end” makeup anymore, but i wish the ones i do like would switch to ulta. or at least be available online even though their website sucks too.
