This is really annoying. I also think that perhaps we could have more stories about women who are actually in their 40+ and not actors 40+ playing at being in their late 20s/early 30s. That's not a Hallmark specific problem but still.

The leads in these movies never seem to have any chemistry. I would rather just read are Harlequin romance.

I rarely if ever find the men attractive. Some of them are borderline creepy. There’s one with Alicia Witt where the whole time I’m like “she’s fucking hot and cute and this guy is….ready to go all Buffalo Bill

You don’t understand, men don’t have to be attractive, they just have to own a candy shoppe they opened with their dead wife and they may or may not be Santa. That’s all women need, it’s not like they can experience sexual arousal. That’s just science.

I feel like networks like new stars because they’re cheaper. Does it matter who/what is on with networks like hallmark? I think of it like usa, tlc, or upn when I was in college. I’d always put them on during the day because I could always catch svu, antm, whose wedding is it anyway. I feel like hallmark has the same vibes.

No leading men aging out?

Men don’t age. That’s science. Men are legally and mentally 7 and physically remain at their peak which is 16. I’ve never seen an older man. Just teens with grey hair, which only makes them hotter. Unless they are POC, then they are born grown men and should be treated as such under the full extent of the law. Women on the other hand go from baby to hot teen to invisible.

Gray hair and receding hairlines but a surprisingly unnatural amount of muscle for their 50s.

Real men take HGH, have tiny balls, and uncontrollable fits of anger!!! But gender affirming care should be illegal for anyone else!
