CPS is just doing their job. I know it's anon, but there really should be some way of tracking people calling in false child abuse claims. People who call CPS to "get back at people" are the lowest of the low. It's a waste of time, resources, and even if the complaint isn't valid they still keep a record on you.

Why is she so sure it’s some random person pulling a prank and not someone in her real life? Isn’t she in the middle of a contentious split with her husband? Ether way the jumping straight to threatening violence isn’t exactly reassuring

I have no proof but I'm going to assume that this "prank" was done by a Barb.

Obviously Cardi shouldn't be mad at CPS but I can only imagine being in the hospital for days and also dealing with an (ostensibly false) CPS investigation going on at the same time. I'd be frustrated too.

Yeah, it's necessary for CPS to take all calls seriously, but I'd give someone sick & hospitalized some slack for barking up the wrong tree. All fake callers need to re-evaluate their life decisions, though. I hate that it's even a thing at all...

The person who called it in knew her physical address. CPS is not going to bother with a "Cardi's abusing her child" call with no other information because they're going to assume it's nonsense. That call came from inside the house, and I would say there's a good chance it came from Offset's camp, which is super shitty. I guess is it's someone fucking around with Offset because calling CPS on a rival is unfortunately in the Jumpoff playbook.
