Cardi B posted an apology about having to cancel an upcoming performance due to her hospitalization.
"I am so sad to share this news, but I've been in the hospital recovering from a medical emergency the last couple of days and I won't be able to perform at ONE MusicFest. It breaks my heart that I won't get to see my fans this weekend and I really wish I could be there. Bardi Gang - thank you for understanding and I'll be back better and stronger soon. Don't worry. Love yall."
The singer revealed in an earlier Instagram Live on Tuesday that she has been sick for days and in the hospital since Saturday. She went live from her hospital bed where she vowed to take legal action against Child Protective Services and threatened to beat the shit out of whoever anonymously prank called and caused CPS and police to show up at her house at 11PM for alleged child abuse.
"For Child Protective Services to come to my gated mansion at 11PM while my children are sleeping because there's an 'anonymous call' that my kids have been getting abused and beaten. Are you fucking dumb!? This is when the pranks start getting too far. [...] I promise you this. I'm gonna sue Child Protective Services for fucking coming to my house at whatever the fuck time it comes, and I'm also gonna sue the person that did this anonymous call. [...] If Child Protective Services don't give me this 'anonymous person', I'm gonna find out myself. [...] I promise you, I'm going to find out who the fuck you are, and you're going to be on your knees begging me for fucking mercy for the prank that you decided to do. [...] And yes, guys, I'm very sick. I've been here since the 19th. I'm extremely sick. I hope I get to leave tomorrow, but I know I'm not. [...] If I don't find you, I'm suing Child Protective Services for even having the motherfucking audacity-"
