definitely watched this in class but i have absolutely no memory of a nude scene and that definitely would have been a big deal with our immature asses, my teachers must have cut it?? or something

I hate that reasoning with the fire of a thousand suns. Consent to participate in the film is not consent to all future shit that might be inflicted on them in the name of making the film. Saying "well you defended it after" completely ignores the ongoing legal and commercial pressure they were under to promote this thing. Completely ignores how long it can sometimes take victims to process what was done to them as having been abusive.

I haven't read the full ruling so I don't know if there are other parts of the decision that are less infuriating/more just technical aspects of how no liability, but... yeah, there's steam coming out of my ears right now.
