Two episodes into the season, CBS has renewed Kathy Bates' Matlock reboot for season two. The show airs Thursday nights. Season one consists of eighteen episodes.

Good. Kathy is an all-time favorite, and I'll watch nearly anything Jason Ritter and Leah Lewis are booked in. Top it off with a Black Co-Lead? Here for it.

Also, Eric Christian Olsen is an executive producer.
