my forehead's botox never lasted longer than three months, and even that generous. apparently, i have very strong muscles on my forehead, add to that, expressive face and you get visible lines
i haven't had botox in a while because i don't see the value in paying the cost for a result that would fade so quickly.
now that my eleven lines are clearly visible, I can not help but think about them. However, i always laugh when i think about it because of this quote

Yeah I get botox in my forehead, 11s and my jaw every quarter and I definitely metabolize it pretty quickly but it does seem to be softening the "resting" wrinkles -- the first time I got it nearly shat myself b/c it was so expensive (4 figures including jaw) but my boss actually pays for mine (#blessed) otherwise IDK if i would really keep up, it has helped tremendously with my jaw clenching though

got botox for the first time this year. LOVE LOVE LOOOOVE the results. but that's as far as i'd go with cosmetic "procedures"

it's really not as drastic as people made me believe. i think botox has such a bad rep bc you see all these frozen and swollen faces and they just claim "botox" when in reality they got other shit done.

I wish I could do something more permanent about my hollow tear troughs. A surgical implant seems excessive though.

I wish I’d had a better experience with the fillers.

i have yet to see anything of the tear troughs that actually works longterm and/or doesn't migrate or make you look off.

Mine didn’t migrate but they just weren’t super worth it. They don’t last long and there was some pain and tenderness in the area even after they settled. The woman also told me I wouldn’t look bruised at all and I absolutely looked like I got in a fight for like 2 days.

They looked great but it seemed like a risky area to have done every 6 months. Some plastic surgeons won’t even do them anymore due to the area having a high risk of injury if they stick the wrong spot.

What exactly did you get? I have the worst hereditary hollow circles. Fat transfer sounds somewhat ok, but even your own fat can disappear after a few months and they don't do that surgery in my country..

I have anxiety about even finding a place that does Botox. For some reason, I feel ashamed to get it even though other women do it all the time.
