Even if I could afford it I don’t think I’d try Botox. A friend of a friend of a friend etc said everyone in NYC gets Botox and if they say they don’t they’re lying and I was like “giiiiirll…..” I could go on about said person but I’ll come off like a bitch.
I’ve mentioned before but I’d only want a boob lift. How can my little boobies be so saggy??? Which now reminds me of a woman I saw on the street and no exaggeration, her boobs were hanging to her belly button and I suddenly grabbed my chest in pain.

This is so specific but for a while during college i was hanging out with dental students and they all came from rich families and I remember when I got my first Brazilian at a salon they all recommended and the waxer goes “oh, so you’re a dental student too?” And I go “no, but thanks for thinking I am!” 😂
But for real. They are luxuries!! I still have yet to get a manicure or pedicure. People find it strange and we all have our little splurges and those just aren’t for me 🤷🏻♀️

I could never afford these things. It doesn't bother me that I'll probably never do it. But it would make me happier when I look in the mirror

I know aging is a complex issue to most women but it's really sad to think how many of them will literally put themselves in danger to achieve a so-called beauty standard. I get the appeal of these small, less invasive procedures bc they don't seem so daunting but when people actively serve as guinea pigs for shit that's so new with very little track of the long term effects is just insane to me.

I find this trend of women in their late twenties, early thirties who do little amounts of botox for ´preventative´ reasons interesting. On the one hand I´m glad people are opening up about their procedures instead of ´it´s just how my skin is´ but I can´t help but feel we should all collectively have started getting less afraid of looking your dang age.
Just look at Nicole Kidman. You can still tell she´s in her late fifties, just with skin that is tight as fuck. Might as well rock the rimples ala Helen Mirren than holding onto the last remnants of youth
