Reading this broke me. It's been a month since my dad passed and I think the same thing every single day. He was having stomach issues for two days and we all (including him) chalked it up to his usual acid reflux. It wasn't. He was gone in 12 hours after entering the hospital. If only I had brought him to the doctor on day one. I could have saved him.
