i have so much empathy for his family, his son, his loved ones, and ofc for maya henry and anyone else he victimized. i also have empathy for his former bandmates, they all basically grew up/found immense fame together. i can’t imagine how any of them are feeling.
fuck abusers, period, but it’s hard not to feel sad when watching old videos of him before fame/addiction took hold.
i really do think fame does something to you esp if you have a ton of it before your frontal lobe is fully formed. child/teen stars that actually go on to have “normal” or healthy adult lives are so few and far between, and they’re so ripe for being taken advantage of.
I don't know if this is a legit account (including the IG link in the profile) but apparently this is Zayn's sister off twitter
I can't believe it, I honestly have no words for this sad moment... I really can't believe it 🖤 pic.twitter.com/RfpRcYxvMX - Waliyha Malik 💍 (@WaIiyhaAzad) October 16, 2024
I wonder if niall will talk about their conversation, since liam was saying they needed to hash things out. Hopefully it was a meaningful last conversation for him.
Wasn’t there a picture of them posted after the concert? Even when that happened, I thought Niall probably saw how messed up Liam was and was being patient and gracious even though Liam acted a fool at his concert. Niall seems like a nice person and the one that was/stayed friends with everyone. Can’t imagine how he is feeling now after just seeing him so recently in that state.
I've struggled to find the words, but it's just all so sad. I'm sad for Maya Henry, Kate Cassidy, his son, Cheryl, his family and friends. Yesterday just felt like such a somber and sad day, I couldn't explain it. I was never a huge 1D fan, but I would stream some of their songs ("What a Feeling") and they were such a big part of the 2010's and ONTD posts.
I'm also sorry for the way I poked fun of him and his solo career. I knew he had struggles, but I guess I hadn't realized the severity of it, and that I was kicking someone while they were down. So I have this guilty feeling, I just feel awful.

You're a better person than most cause people with more visibility did the same thing but probably won't have the guts to admit their own culpability in it. At least you own up to it so good for you!
