British? but some ONTDers gave me the impression this was an issue with the remote city of Buenos Aires and Argentina's terrible economy leading folks to make drastic choices! /s
I thought it was a practice not to report about a method of death? Is it because it’s not being reported as a s* and simply how he passed? I’m not even reading any reports/articles but the headlines and tweets alone are so graphic.
i think whenever the death is caused by an accidental fall, it's normally reported. and as far as i know, that's what liam's death is being considered. like, I'm also thinking about how SOPHIE died in an accidental fall from a roof, and it was reported that way.
Given how fast it spread on social media after it happened and that it was late in the evening in the UK, idk. I think it's highly likely they either found out from social media or the news vs being told personally by authorities or someone on Liam's team.
I don’t know about his family but apparently his current girlfriend who had gone to Florida only found out when a journalist contacted her for a quote.
I’ll always remember my dad telling me that when my paternal grandfather died at 56 he was the one that brought my great grandmother, that was 80 at the time He said that before entering she stopped out of the room where his body was for a moment and said to him “Paolo, that’s my baby in there” and even if almost 40 years now have passed he still thinks about that moment sometimes
I can’t even begin to imagine how it must feel for a parent to lose a child at any age, my thoughts are with them and with his child, I hope they are keeping him away from the internet
my 90 at the time grandmother had 7 kids and had never lost one until my uncle died at age 60. Even though she had dementia she still occasionally became lucid and remembered that he died. My aunt had tried to not tell her at first but it was like she knew something was wrong.
My grandmother was still alive when my dad had his open heart surgery. I didn't think that my dad was going to die (and he didn't), but I had to prep myself for possibly being the person to tell my grandmother, the most important person in my life, that her son died before she did.
She ended up coming to the procedure, which I didn't expect. But I was fully ready to do it.
