Lisa says she was so happy and has never been that happy again [note: Lisa had previously stated divorcing Danny and marrying MJ was the biggest mistake of her life].
yeeesh. no one can diagnose anything, obviously, but that sort of high sounds a little like what mania could be.

But MJ was too busy playing with Riley and Ben fell and hit his head on the ground and cried. The next day, Benjamin pooped under the swing in protest.

I definitely remember reading or hearing something along time ago that MJ was so fascinated with Elvis, that's why he persued Lisa Marie.

“The final night MJ invited her into his room and told her not to look at him, turned off the lights and said in the darkness that he was completely in love with her, he wanted to marry her and for her to have his children. He played her a song that told her how he felt and said that he really wanted her, he wanted to be with her, and he knew he threw her off.”

Thank you for the recap OP. I didn't finish reading and will in a bit. The part about him wanting to contact/reach her around 16 was nagl nor was the part where he "saw" her at 6 and describing all those thing. Before I knew anything about Michael, I saw their you are not alone music video and their appearance at MTV, I thought they looked cute. It seems like he was infatuated with her status as elvis' daughter than anything

so far seems like Riley and Ben’s dad was the only person who didn’t use her for their own gain in some way (I know she has other younger kids but idk anything about their dad… yet!)

to me sounds like MJ just wanted to be a dad to Elvis’s grandkids and was using her for that, good thing she didn't have kids with him
