i hope the staff members involved are getting support because that is horrible. i fully admit i know next to nothing about this guy or his issues but what a dreadfully sad way to end. his poor little boy.

This is a tragedy for everyone connected to this guy, one way or another.

May they have the support they need during these times.

Pictures of his hotel room? I am stunned at all these invasive leaks given how relatively remote Buenos Aires is.

Is it local Argentinian gossip rags that are leading the charge and selling on the information to the London and LA tabloids?

It is all so cruel to his loved ones who are probably still scrambling with logistics.

How is a capital city with millions of people considered remote?

remote? are you serious? I can't believe this is how people talk about a countries capital city just because it's in South America

The hotel room pictures make it look like he was smoking crack and just generally on a rampage. If you die doing crazy things because you're super high, does that count as a suicide?

He’s def mentioned having suicidal ideations in the past but he mentioned getting help.

But until an official confirmation is mentioned I tend to lean that the drugs he was on severely clouded his judgement cause honestly the reporting seems like it was an impulsive spur of the moment decision. Again I could be totally wrong though.

I think it can still be considered a suicide even if it was impulsive- like someone said below many of them are spur of the moment which is why it’s important that if someone is having a crisis they don’t have access to anything they could use to hurt themselves like a balcony. I’ve seen Argentines say the hotel is going to be in big legal trouble because of that. Anyway I read that the police are going to try to figure out now based on the little evidence there is if he did it because he wanted to die or if he was just trying to get to the swimming pool, but of course there might not be enough evidence to make determining that possible and we might just never know.

idk how you'd determine COD without solid evidence indicating intent (letter, video, statements). seems just like speculation at this point due to his prior behavior. which might be all there is to go on.
