I liked this episode well enough but am very confused by a lot of things - like why was Agatha able to dig herself out and not the other two?

Why did Billy murder them (I don't think he really did so with all the Twitter spoilers but still)? It seems he didn't really know his powers well before so did they just manifest to mind control/crown level at that moment? Where has Rio been through all of this?

It feels like they wanted a cool evil Billy reveal at the end of the last episode and didn't really think the rest through.

Agatha walked the road once and she warned them to not leave the road when Mrs. Hart (I'll never be able to call her Sharon) got herself into the quicksand.
I think he was angry at Jen and Lilia for being so callous when Alice died. He liked her the most because they both went through a lot when they were 13.

It was a great episode!! Still think they should have cast a Jewish actor (the initial scenes were lovely) but it is what it is and I genuinely like Joe a lot and he has great chemistry with the cast and works soooo well with Kathryn so I still enjoy him in the role. And the adaptation of his origin works for the MCU. Soooo looking forward to see Tommy again, he's always so overlooked 😭

I also loved Miles as 'Eddie' and I'm really hoping he's revealed to be Hulkling. They were beyond cute!! 💕

Agreed. Like I think he was well cast, and did a decent job with the Hebrew, but again they cast non-Jewish actors in jewish roles. It's just frustrating to see.

The events of the first ep from Billy's PoV were hilarious! And the Ralph cameo! lmao

Ok I've caught up with the show after last week's Wiccan reveal. Given what I know from the comics, I was curious to see how they would handle the soul hijacking shenanigans and I thought William Kaplan dying and becoming a vessel for Billy outside the hex was acceptable. I also liked that Billy's now on a quest to find his brother instead of his mother.

I thought I would be more immersed with the witchiness of the show, but I'm kind of lukewarm about all of it. The coven to me feels like a group of actors trying to be witches instead of embodying them. The show's visual effects department also needs to step it up because Agatha's mom showing up looking like Casper the friendly ghost completely took me out lmao (Alice's demon looking like a person dressed up for Halloween was a close second). I'm probably expecting way too much out of a marvel show tbh lol.

Also, I was so surprised to see two boys kissing on a Disney show! Is that a first?

I'm taking this chance to say I'm going to NY next month and I'm thinking of seeing Patti's play just because she's on it but I'm overwhelmed by all the Broadway options and don't wanna miss out on anything that might be better lmao if anyone has any recs...

I would try to see it! You can get cheap good seats and it’s apparently really fun. Otherwise, apparently the must see of the season is Oh, Mary! But that’s pricey.

Thank you! I didn't have Oh, Mary! on my list but I'll check it out!

Patti is a must imo. She’s a legend and if you haven’t seen her live yet, you should when the opportunity comes up. I saw her in Sweeney Todd when she played the tuba, it was amazing and bizarre lol
