I fully believe the theory that celebs really give their kids normal names, but tell the world a different, weird name, to preserve a degree anonymity. So weirdos looking for Pilot Inspektor won’t find much, and the kid won’t get bothered under their real name.
My mind went immediately to the episode of Friends when Rachel wanted to name their baby "Rain" and Ross is like "Hi, my name is Rain. I have my own kiln and my dress is made of wheat"
"She told me that I 'ruined her daughter's self-esteem' and that her 'life [was] ruined' by me saying that 'her existence is wrong,' " the post continues. "I didn't say that, by the way. I said that her name was pronounced atypically ... The conversation was maybe five minutes long, but I managed to ruin this kid's life. Hindsight says I should have kept my mouth shut and waited for somebody else in this city to say something."
The mom is being overdramatic and it's really more about her feelings than her kid's feeling who by the way we don't actually get a description of the child's feeling lol.
Lol if this mom goes to Ireland where they'll tell how it's actually pronounced....what is she gonna say.
Either way wouldn't be the first time a kid has been named with a mispronounciation.
