The Mighty Nein adaptation can't come out fast enough.

Ok, is this show any good? The previews that have been spamming my fire stick all day look really gooood.

But, I don’t want to be disappointed if it doesn’t live up to my most recent 3 faves: castlevania, the dragon prince, and arcane.

Anyone recommend?

Season 1 is great, the second one is a bit less so, but it's worth giving it a chance. For now Season 3 seems to be interesting.

I'd say so yes give it a go, from the three you have listed I have also seen and really liked Dragon Prince and Arcane.

The animation is more in the realm of Dragon prince I'd say, it is definitely geared towards an adult audience cause the creators are not interested in keeping images and language PG.

While it is based on a played DnD campaign I feel they have managed really well to take what happened there and turn it into a plot for a scripted show. Season 1 is one complete arc, season 2 covers parts of the second arc of the campaign which I think season 3 will finish.

I don't plan to watch this, but can someone tell me how they handled Tiberius? Was the character mentioned in passing or completely removed?

He is completely removed from the party. It was surpising though that they have gone to Draconia now, which I thought would simply not be mentioned either at all in the show, since it hasn't been mentioned in the campaigns since they last went there in campaign one.

There was that Draconian dude that Fjord and Beau caught in disguise in the episode where they realized Essek had stolen the beacon

I'm glad that these first few episodes didn't have the extreme toilet humor moments that S1 and S2 have had, like Grog having something shoved up his ass to help cure him of his curse and all that stuff. Yes, I know there's a hefty amount of toilet humor in Critical Role in general (magical poop, how you doing?), but there's something very different about sort of having the cast describe it and leaving it up to your imagination instead of having it concretely animated and put out there. I'm okay with toilet humor to a degree, but there were plenty of times that I didn't like it in the previous seasons. That said, I used Grog's situation as a specific example and when Umbrasyl got invaded up the hole in the same season I was perfectly content with that and delighted in it, but the context was extremely different in each case and that's important

It was definitely VM going to Dis when they went to kill the Rakshasa (no clue if that is spelled correctly) that was still coming after Vax. If I am seeing it correctly they are mashing together the trip to hell and the trip to the city of brass where the plate actually was in the campaign, I'm curious which things from those will make it to screen.

What does he think is scripted? The actual game play? I find it odd when people who do play DnD think that can be scripted and can't believe that trained actors are just able to improv that well.

Also, animated Percy's hair is a 10/10 and I don't understand why video games can't do a hairstyle like that.
