Watched them right that Thursday with my flatmate.

I like how they are adjusting the storylines to the animated show so far, while there are scenes from the campaign I would love to see I totally understand that they have to cut a lot to make it fit and not drag.

I'm really curious where the season will end. I haven't checked yet if there will be a fourth and final season for the last arc of the campaign. Or maybe they made that super short and it will already be in this season but that feels like it would be A LOT. On the other hand starting up the M9 animated show while LoVM is still airing imo is not the best since it's set later and while on a different continent technically could have spoilers for LoVM.

They haven't been greenlit for a 4th season so im curious how this season will end. It's wild they approved mighty nein before finishing this. I really hope it gets a few more seasons.

I figured they'd get started on M9 so that they can have it out asap once LoVM is complete, having them out at the same time seems not so wise to me. I might be biased though because I had to deal with a friend kind of dismissing Campaign 1 for a long time - while not having seen it - (like telling other people not to bother watching it at all and just starting with M9) so I don't want the animated shows to overshadow one another by being out at the same time.

I'm perfectly content with them not bringing in Vecna, even if they ultimately just have to call him the "Whispered One" instead of using his Government name to ensure that WotC lawyers don't come a'calling. I know they already hinted at him in S1, but I'm totally okay with that being an unaddressed Easter Egg.

But if they do Vecna, that's cool, too. Imagine it would require at least 2 more seasons to really do it justice. Still, the Conclave arc always seemed "bigger" in impact to me as a fan than the Vecna one, despite the Vecna one having bigger consequences by far. So if they wrap the conclave arc and call it a day, hey, that's fine with me.

Ah man that sucks if animation is not your cup of tea :/

I saw that there is that premier party on twitch and youtube, I admit I'm always mainly interested in behind the scenes talks and q&a stuff, do they do any of that?

S2 wasn't my favorite and didn't have the same spark as S1, but i enjoyed it still. will have to set aside time for this!
