I was reminiscing on the kdramas I loved but don’t receive enough love, so I decided to make a post for everyone to share their favorite underrated Asian dramas.
(Disclaimer: This list veers older since I have been out of the kdrama loop in recent years.)

- Utsukushii Kare/My Beautiful Man (J, seasons 1-2 and the movie)
- Jack & Joker: U Steal My Heart (Thai. Currently airing, I'm waiting for it to finish so I can binge)

I'm watching Jack and Joker and I love it so much, I'm terrified of rec it around in fear of jinxing it and making it turn bad.
Heads up tho, all the episodes so far have been over one hour long. And the first episode might drag a bit but it is because they need to lay down all the backstory.

But seriously, I like it so much I ended up watching The Best Story (I don't wanna talk about it.-.), and on the next night I have nothing to watch, I'm starting Love Mechanics, I need more YinWar in my life, I guess.

You probably know this, but there are two versions of Love Mechanics! There's the regular one and then the directors cut, the directors cut is the one you want to watch, imo, but both are good! The only (legal) way I know of to watch that one is the WeTv app.

I love YinWar so much. I might cave and start the series. I already have lots of gifs saved lol. Is The Best Story bad? I've had it on my watch list for awhile now.

I didn't find The Best Story bad, it is only 3 episodes so it was a quick watch, it was just... very realistics, let's say that.

I really liked avengers social club too. Other kdramas I enjoyed navillera - old grandpa is determined to learn ballet and encounters a struggling young dancer. Racket boys- about middle school badminton sports in small town very funny. Revenant - most solid paranormal kdrama I've watched. Also if you enjoy supernatural and oh no here comes trouble is a great taiwanese drama

Navillera is definitely that one that has slipped under a lot of radars I think. One of my top 10 ever

I know people think it's cringe but I have a love-hate relationship with "Nevertheless". I personally think it's different and more mature than your usual go-to K-drama.

I also love love love "W - Two worlds".

Fall is usually prime kdrama season for me but for some reason this year nothing is sucking me in (I tired Queen of tears but meh). I don’t know if I’m in the mood for something dark or comedic. Probably a bit of both.
