I'll admit to feeling some curiosity when I heard there would be musical elements, but the fact that it's apparently stupid and dark/depressing just for the sake of being edgy is so boring! I'll watch the musical numbers when it gets released on a streaming service in two weeks.

After watching the movie, it's not a musical. It's what people think musicals are. A few characters sing but, unlike actual musicals, everyone else knows they're singing and react like "why is he singing?" The only people it's a musical to are Joker and Harley

Same here, plus I'm a Visual Ho and I've heard there's effects used that are incredible. He didn't skimp on the behind the scenes creative, that's for sure.
