Seeing The Outrun with a Saoirse Q&A tomorrow... can't wait! I didn't find out about it til it had already been on sale for a few hours, and they did not put it in one of the bigger theaters for some reason, so it was almost sold out and my husband and I are sitting like five rows apart. Kind of a bummer, but I suppose we'll live. Hopefully an audience mainly there to see her is respectful and chill!

Saw Salem's Lot last week, and it was just okay - could be spooky for younger folks. The pacing is just way too rushed, which confirms for me that adaptations of this book really need to be in miniseries form.

Looking forward to checking out It's What's Inside at some point.

Tonight, we're seeing The Cell, and this weekend, we've got a David Lynch double feature of Dune and Blue Velvet, and then a screening of Anora on Sunday. A very movie-focused weekend.

I saw The Outrun last night and Saoirse is fantastic in it (as usual!). The plot isn’t anything groundbreaking but it’s definitely worth seeing for her.

The movie and character in The Outrun reminds me a lot of “How I Live Now” so I’m thinking it as a grown up version that movie.

I watched The Substance the other day and what a ride. I'm still not into Margaret Qualley, and it was more pronounced with me comparing her to Demi Moore and thinking about young Demi Moore. The body horror was very much body horroring!
