The difference is that Shelby Lynn barely charted and never had any certifications.

Carpenter has multiple platinum singles and a gold album before this year.

That's why I hated that fountains of Wayne were nominated even though they were very successful in the alternative charts.

Teddy swims is probably going to win anyway.

Shelby still dropped 5 whole ass albums, we can sit here and split hairs all day long but at this point the Grammys need to change the rules to better reflect BNA or rename this category cause it's a mess.
