I don’t think Oprah was an intentional villain, before she got super famous she was probably a fad bandwagon jumper, and fame and her show turned her the fad bandwagon leader. She believed whatever pseudoscience nonsense was told to her, and she gave Phil, Oz, and others a platform to spread their poison. I think she thought she was acting in good faith, and she thought she was well intended, but clearly she wasn’t.
