I wish the Academy would go back to preventing streaming movies from being eligible for Oscars. Movies made by streamers watched on a television are called tv movies and that’s what Emmys are for.
(I love Scorsese and thought KOFM was excellent; a traditional studio should’ve had that one)

If they want the industry to survive they need to protect movie theaters.
Plus, a movie that does well in theaters is much more likely to do big numbers on streaming. So giving them a theatrical run is a good strategy.

They’ve had decent tv shows but are, no surprise, terrible at promo for them as well.
If you buy a film via Apple to watch via the Apple TV app and the digital version included extras, sometimes the extras are no longer available, despite them being part of the purchase.
Mess.

It always feels like they got into streaming the way Brooklyn Beckham gets into cooking, or photography, or idk what else that boy does - "I have money and free time, so why not."
