Lmaaooo that’s funny bc I read it somewhere else and was confused, but OP broke it down for me.

So basically sounds like the church did not like that it was desecrated by the Sabrina Carpenter feather music video . I don’t think the guy was in it, but he like allowed them to and they didn’t like it so they demoted him And coincidentally or incidentally, I’m not really sure he has like the pre-stir the past or whatever has ties to someone Eric Adam works with and that’s how it all came crumbling down or some shit like that.

Not exactly a few words but this vicar called Gigantiello gave Sabrina's team permission to shoot her 'Feather' music video in their parish--this prompted an investigation after the disapproving Diocese of Brooklyn found this sacrilegious and demoted Gigantiello from vicar to pastor. The church's investigation was eventually linked to the feds own investigation linking the pastor to NYC Mayor Eric Adams and his chief of staff. It's unclear what the pastor's shady connection to the mayor is.
