One I did make it through was Love to Hate You and despite it being very weird sometimes. I thought the characters were charming for the most part + it was nice to see some acknowledgement of the misogyny problem in SK.

Thirty Nine is a big favorite of mine because it really spoke to me as a woman of a certain age. Son Ye-Jin always picks such good projects, which is initially why I tuned in, but that show had me crying every episode.
I have Good Partner waiting in the wings, it's a show with two female leads and I like both of the actresses so I shortlisted it to watch. Nam Ji-Hyun is someone whose work I always check out, but Jang Na-Ra being the other lead made me want to watch.
I generally only watch dramas from tvN, JTBC, or OCN because the production quality is usually higher than the networks, and I really cannot stand the weird sanitized romance scenes they do either.

Captivating the King kinda got boring but I like historical dramas and I adore Shin Se Kyung. She deserves an It Girl moment like Kim Ji Won. Queen of Tears started off interesting but then I had to suspend my disbelief a little too much and I really hated how it centered so much around what’s his face’s obsession over her.

Let's see... my favorites that I've watched the past year...
My Demon, Queen of Tears, Lovely Runner, Goodbye Earth, Missing: The Other Side, Ghost Doctor, Marry My Husband, Killer Paradox, Navillera and Melancholia.
If you're curious about any of the above, let me know and I 'll tell you more about why I loved them and what they're about.
Currently watching and loving: Love Next Door and No Gain, No Love! So those could def make the list of favorite dramas from this past year if they end strong.
