ONTD is one of the only places on the internet where people are correctly misandrist and sensitive to gratuitous violence against women. I'm not even a fan of horror movies, but the whole point of the genre is somebody gets tortured. Casting Hugh Grant (noted for playing nice guy roles) as the villain in a movie like this is genius and thought-provoking because missionaries are bad which makes him a villain with a point. With respect to the content of the film, I can't comment on it because I haven't seen it but yes, I'm all for psychological torture of missionaries in art.
I know some people's feminism hasn't evolved past "men bad, girls good" but I definitely encourage you to branch out and consider context and nuance. And my apologies if this comment was just about you meeting your scoldy quota for the day. Carry on.
